It’s here. It’s finally here. I’m back in blender business. After months of surveying and researching, my new blender is here. Of course it wasn’t without drama. I previously said that I was getting the Ninja and I couldn’t wait until Thursday to get it. I was up bright and early heading over to Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I just love their non-expiring 20% off coupons. I picked up my baby and rushed home after running errands to try it out. My experience with the Ninja became one of the most disappointing moments in my life. I put the same ingredients I usually combine to make a smoothie and hit the power button. One thing I’m pretty sure about smoothies is you are not supposed to have to chew them. The “professional” did not blend much of the fruit and veggies I used. I could actually chew the spinach. I’m not one to give up quickly so I decided to make another one later with different ingredients…FAIL. Without hesitation I contacted the store about returning the blender. I decided to go with my second choice, the Nutribullet. I had gotten mixed reviews from people I knew and online so I was skeptical. I can truly say I’m in blender heaven and back on the smoothie wagon. The Nutribullet is smaller and more efficient than the Ninja in my opinion. It took all of two minutes to blend my fruits and veggies into creamy perfection. It comes with three rather large containers so I was able to my smoothie for tomorrow as well. One thing I’ve learned from this experience is bigger isn’t always better. Team Nutribullet!!
