I looked in the mirror the other day and saw something so special. What I see now is a woman I love. She is beautiful, gifted, kindhearted, and so much more. She possesses confidence once buried so deep she never knew its existence. What I see now is strength handed down from generations of strong Southern black women. The strength to carry on through love and loss is imbedded in her DNA. She is truly content having chosen to be nothing less than fabulous. What I see now is a taste of what she is to become. She is on a mission to live life without regrets and I’m enjoying watching her journey.
